Hospital Outpatient Director
About The Position
Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, The Emergency Manager is responsible for the quality assessment, implementation,coordination, evaluation, and standardization of the Emergency Department (ED). This role will create plan, organize, direct, staffs and control a wide range of operations and activities pertaining to nursing services and/or clinical care delivery in Boulder City Hospital’s Emergency Department. This role will have impacts on the hospital’s care delivery models and revenue cycle. Some of these operational impacts including but not limited to, evaluation of patient care outcomes, medication administration, care management and assisting in examinations and treatments; provides daily direction and leadership to assigned staff; develops and administers new programs and services; participates in Hospital strategic development and planning processes; and performs other duties as assigned for the Emergency Department and affiliated facility.
