About The Position

The Hospital Operations Coordinator is responsible for leading all daily operations within the hospital when the Operations Manager - Hospital is absent. This role involves delivering on established metrics within the contracted agreement and assisting in the team building of ASSET360 FTEs. The coordinator will work with the Hospital Operations Manager (HOM) to ensure equipment functions at high standards, oversee equipment flow, redirect and allocate resources, and maintain necessary inventory, productivity, supplies, and support for an effective Asset Management Program. They will investigate nursing staff concerns and opportunities for improvement, implementing appropriate courses of action. The position requires a basic understanding of the existing contract between the company and the customer. Responsibilities also include assisting with the supervision of HST personnel, covering training, performance reviews, corrective action plans, establishing reporting requirements, and directing career development. The coordinator will help manage staffing schedules based on equipment volume, foster cooperation among shifts, and work to create a dedicated and harmonious working environment focused on staff retention. They are also responsible for facilitating, educating, and delivering the HST training manual, providing ongoing supervision and coaching in problem-solving, communication, and conflict resolution, and collaborating with the Operations Manager - Hospital to develop career path opportunities. Leadership in training and education on ASSET360 policies, procedures, best practices, and the use of Vityl is also required. The role includes assisting with daily tasks such as patient rounds, equipment deliveries, and cleaning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all daily operations within the hospital in the absence of the Operations Manager - Hospital
  • Deliver on the established Metrics within the contracted agreement
  • Assist in the Team Building of the ASSET360 FTE’s
  • Work with HOM to ensure that equipment is functioning at the highest standards
  • Assist in the oversight of the equipment flow while redirecting and allocating resources
  • Maintain the necessary inventory of equipment, equipment productivity, supplies and support structure to ensure an effective and functional Asset Management Program
  • Investigate nursing staff concerns and opportunities for improvement in lieu of the Operations Manager - Hospital
  • Implement appropriate courses of action in a clear, concise, and professional manner
  • Facilitate the existing Contract between the company and the Customer
  • Assist with the supervision of the HST personnel including but not limited to training, performance reviews and engaging in corrective action plans when necessary
  • Help establish and administer the reporting requirements, and direct their career development
  • Assist with management of staffing schedules based upon equipment volume
  • Foster cooperation among the various shifts to ensure a positive team approach
  • Work to deliver a dedicated and harmonious working environment in which staff retention is a focus
  • Facilitate, educate and deliver the HST training manual for each employee
  • Provide ongoing supervision of all HST personnel in the daily operation of the ASSET360
  • Coach staff in problem solving, effective communication and conflict resolution situations
  • Work with Operations Manager - Hospital to develop career path opportunities for all FTE’s
  • Provide leadership of all HST personnel in regards to training and education of ASSET360 policies, procedures and best practices
  • Provide training and use of Vityl
  • Assist with completion of daily tasks, such as patient rounds, equipment deliveries and cleaning process as necessary
  • All other duties as assigned
