The Hospital Operations Coordinator is responsible for leading all daily operations within the hospital when the Operations Manager - Hospital is absent. This role involves delivering on established metrics within the contracted agreement and assisting in the team building of ASSET360 FTEs. The coordinator will work with the Hospital Operations Manager (HOM) to ensure equipment functions at high standards, oversee equipment flow, redirect and allocate resources, and maintain necessary inventory, productivity, supplies, and support for an effective Asset Management Program. They will investigate nursing staff concerns and opportunities for improvement, implementing appropriate courses of action. The position requires a basic understanding of the existing contract between the company and the customer. Responsibilities also include assisting with the supervision of HST personnel, covering training, performance reviews, corrective action plans, establishing reporting requirements, and directing career development. The coordinator will help manage staffing schedules based on equipment volume, foster cooperation among shifts, and work to create a dedicated and harmonious working environment focused on staff retention. They are also responsible for facilitating, educating, and delivering the HST training manual, providing ongoing supervision and coaching in problem-solving, communication, and conflict resolution, and collaborating with the Operations Manager - Hospital to develop career path opportunities. Leadership in training and education on ASSET360 policies, procedures, best practices, and the use of Vityl is also required. The role includes assisting with daily tasks such as patient rounds, equipment deliveries, and cleaning.
