OCSRI ensures world class care is close to home as the largest cancer care provider in the Northeastern Oklahoma region. OCSRI’s main campus is located in Tulsa, OK, with 3 satellite clinics in towns surrounding Tulsa. The Advanced Practice Hospital Nurse and/or Physician Assistant will work under the direct supervision of highly skilled Oncology Physicians following proper hospital guidelines. Scope of responsibility includes expert practitioner, educator/teacher, care management, consultant, nurse researcher, and nurse leader. May prescribe medication, provide emergency care, and make patient referrals to appropriate license physician. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
