About The Position

Riverview Psychiatric Center is currently recruiting for a Utilization Review/ Management Nurse – Hospital Nurse III position. The Utilization Review Nurse main duties consist of: Monitoring medical necessity through the utilization management process. Gathering, organizing and interpreting data for the Utilization Management Committee and the Performance Improvement process as needed; Providing Utilization Management data to Executive Leadership and the Medical Executive Committee.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field and two (2) years of professional nursing experience -OR- graduation from an accredited school of nursing and three (3) years of professional nursing experience.
Experience must include one (1) year overseeing and providing medical and/or psychiatric nursing care in a hospital facility.
A license as a Registered Nurse as issued by the Maine State Board of Nursing.
