About The Position
Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) is seeking Hospital Medicine Physicians for their San Bernardino County Service Area. This area serves a diverse population and offers a rich cultural and topographical landscape, with easy access to outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and water-skiing. The communities boast excellent schools, parks, and affordable housing, making it a great place for families. Physicians and staff can enjoy the distinct seasons, with beautiful fall colors and views of snow-capped mountains. The service area provides a variety of dining, entertainment, and cultural options close to the Medical Centers. It is known for its growth and innovation, with over 1000 physicians bringing youthful energy and diverse ideas. As the largest area in the Southern California region, it includes two hospitals and over 19 medical office buildings, offering a wide range of tertiary and specialty services. There are numerous academic opportunities, including 9 residency and fellowship programs, and it serves as a clinical rotation site for the Bernard J Tyson Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine and other institutions. This breadth and depth provide physicians with opportunities for leadership, teaching, academic pursuits, specialization, and social activities.
