Hospital Maintenance Technician (Full Time)

About The Position
To maintain a safe, functional, physical environment for patients, employees and guests. This role involves general building repair and maintenance, grounds maintenance, routine plumbing and electrical work, preparing the facility for special functions, responding to alarms and codes, and facility cleaning. The technician must comply with the facility's safety, infection control, and security program.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- General experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and air conditioning with experience in repair and maintenance.
- Fundamental understanding of machinery/equipment
Responsibilities
- General building repair and maintenance.
- Grounds maintenance.
- Routine plumbing and electrical.
- Prepare facility for special functions, including setting up tables, chairs and equipment.
- Respond in a timely manner to alarms and codes.
- Facility cleaning.
- Complies with facility safety, infection control and security program.
