About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Hospital Lab Operations Manager to join our team. This is a remote position. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. The role involves supporting the operational design, financial modeling, and implementation of strategic business partnerships with hospitals and health systems. It also includes contributing to long-term relationship management by monitoring performance, identifying opportunities for optimization, and ensuring partnership objectives are met. The position requires performing detailed operational and financial data analysis for large healthcare systems to identify improvement opportunities, operational efficiencies, and cost-saving strategies, and translating these insights into actionable recommendations. Comprehensive operational assessments across laboratory workflows, staffing, equipment utilization, and productivity will be conducted, with a focus on developing and presenting process improvement recommendations. A key responsibility is leading MSA (Management Services Agreement) implementation efforts as a project manager, which involves creating project plans, timelines, communication structures, and risk mitigation strategies. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, IT, supply chain, and executive leadership, to execute project deliverables and ensure successful transition outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in science
  • ASCP or AMT certification
  • 5 years clinical lab experience
