This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Baptist Health utilizes advanced UV Disinfection Technology with UV Robotic Machines to eliminate germs before manual cleaning, enhancing protection for everyone. The position involves performing various cleaning duties, collecting trash and linens, and sanitizing diverse areas within the hospital. The ideal candidate will maintain a friendly and professional attitude, adhere to safety protocols, and manage cleaning supplies according to OSHA requirements.
Requirements
- 1-2 years Environmental Services Experience
- High School Diploma Preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned, including janitorial and custodial services.
- Collects trash and linens for disposal/cleaning.
- Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes a variety of areas including but not limited to offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, common waiting areas, etc.
- Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
- Maintains friendly and professional attitude.
- Always follows safety and security protocols.
- May perform other duties as required.
