The Hospital Housekeeper position is part of the Environmental Services team at Baptist Clay. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The hospital utilizes advanced UV Disinfection Technology with UV Robotic Machines to eliminate germs before manual cleaning, enhancing protection for everyone. This is a full-time position with day shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, requiring rotating weekend and holiday work. The primary work location is the Main Building at Baptist Clay.
Requirements
- 1-2 years Environmental Services Experience

Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned, including janitorial and custodial services.
- Collects trash and linens for disposal/cleaning.
- Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes various areas such as offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and common waiting areas.
- Maintains all cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
- Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.
- Always follows safety and security protocols.
- May perform other duties as required.
