About The Position

AmeriPath and Diagnostics Pathology Services, Inc. is seeking a hospital-based Hematopathologist. The role involves handling a case mix of hematopathology, bone marrows, and AP/CP general surgical work with frozen sign-out. The selected individual will work in a tertiary care hospital as part of a team of 7 pathologists. A willingness to pick up hospital-based medical directorship for a small hospital is ideal.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree plus accredited pathology residency/fellowship
• Board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology
• Board certified in hematopathology or be board eligible
• Must hold valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where practice is located or be eligible to obtain licensure
• Must hold active privileges in facility where any inpatient work is interpreted

Nice To Haves

• 2-3 years post residency experience desired but not required

Responsibilities
