About The Position

The Zone Maintenance Mechanic I performs inspection, maintenance and repair work on biomedical hosptial furniture and equipment. This work is performed under general supervision using the tools and techniques of various technologies, including electrical, carpentry, mechanical, plumbing, furniture and upholstry. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
5 years related work experience in all aspects of building repairs using carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills.
The full-time equivalent spent in trades programs may count toward the 5-year work experience requirement.
Knowledge of basic electrical, carpentry, mechanical and plumbing techniques, procedures and materials
Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.
