About The Position
Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Finance Director for a hospital leadership opportunity in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This is a full-time executive leadership position within a 199-bed acute care teaching hospital committed to operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Or Equivalent Experience REQUIRED
- Previous Team Leadership Experience REQUIRED
- Understanding Of Healthcare Regulatory Compliance (HIPAA) REQUIRED
- Strong Financial Management, Budgeting, And Operational Leadership Skills REQUIRED
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare Finance Experience Preferred
- Staff Management Experience Preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead the Finance Department while reporting to executive leadership
- Direct departmental operations, budgeting, financial planning, and resource management
- Oversee internal and external audits while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team
- Lead financial operations and departmental performance
- Develop strategic goals, budgets, and financial initiatives
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Manage hiring, staff development, evaluations, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies
- Partner with hospital leadership to support operational and financial objectives
