About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dialysis care in an acute care hospital setting, specifically at Archibald Hospital. This role focuses on patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions. It is described as a fast-paced, highly collaborative position, requiring direct interaction with patients in various acute care units such as ICU, CCU, and ED. The RN will be responsible for delivering inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis. Key aspects of the role involve collaborating with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff, monitoring patients, adjusting treatments to ensure quality outcomes, and overseeing patient care with the support of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs). The successful candidate must be able to adapt quickly to a dynamic hospital environment. Full vaccination against COVID-19, which may include a booster when eligible, is a mandatory requirement by the hospitals participating in this program.

Requirements

  • Dialysis experience required
  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • ADN required
  • Must pass a color vision test (accommodations available)
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience helpful but not required
  • CNN/CDN certification (preferred)

Responsibilities
