About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dialysis care in an acute care hospital setting, specifically at Archibald Hospital. This role focuses on patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions, requiring the RN to work directly with patients in various acute care units such as ICU, CCU, ED, and others. It is a fast-paced and highly collaborative position where the RN will deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis. The role involves close collaboration with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff, patient monitoring, treatment adjustments, ensuring quality outcomes, and overseeing patient care with the support of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs). The successful candidate must be able to adapt quickly to a dynamic hospital environment. Full vaccination against COVID-19, which may include a booster when eligible, is required by the hospitals participating in this program.

Requirements

Dialysis experience required
Current RN license in the state of practice
ADN required
Must pass a color vision test (accommodations available)

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience helpful but not required
CNN/CDN certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis
