About The Position

DaVita is seeking a registered nurse to provide dialysis care to patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions in a hospital setting. This is a fast-paced, collaborative acute-care nephrology role involving work with patients in ICU, CCU, ED, and other hospital units. The nurse delivers inpatient dialysis therapies, collaborates with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff, monitors patients and adjusts treatment, supports quality outcomes, and oversees patient care with the help of PCTs. The role may involve rotating between facilities as needed, regular and on-call shifts, weekends and holidays, and changing daily schedules based on patient needs. Dialysis experience is required.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) required.
• Dialysis experience required.
• Must pass a color vision test; accommodations are available.
• Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in the program, which may include a booster when eligible.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience helpful but not required.
• CNN/CDN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
• Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff.
• Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes.
• Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs.
• Adapt quickly in a dynamic hospital environment.
