About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician & Inventory Tech to provide hands-on dialysis care in a hospital setting, making a real difference in patients’ lives. This role requires coverage across multiple locations including Orlando Health Wiregrass (Wesley Chapel), Orlando Health Bayfront (St. Petes), and Orlando Health Lakeland Highlands (Lakeland).

Requirements

Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
CCHT Dialysis Certificate Required
Reliable transportation, will be required to cover all locations - mileage reimbursed
Comfort working with blood, needles, and medical equipment
Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical stamina for long shifts (up to 12+ hours)
Flexibility to float between facilities as needed
Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible

Nice To Haves

Previous healthcare experience a plus (CNA, MA, Phlebotomy, CHT, BONENT certified)

Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one dialysis care to patients with kidney disease
Monitor and record vital signs, set up dialysis machines, and observe treatment
Support patients physically and emotionally throughout their care
Educate patients on dialysis-related topics
Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
