The Mciver Clinic is seeking a Hospital Coordinator.

The hospital care coordinator position entails:
Accepting new patient consults from Jacksonville area hospitals
Handling high volume phone calls
Coordinating care between providers and patients
Summarizing pt chart histories, accurately relaying information.
Creating new patient electronic charts
Surgery scheduling
Record keeping
Creating and maintaining office scheduling templates
Creating notes for billing of patient charges
Dictating surgical notes
other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Medical terminology
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong data entry skills
• 1 year MA experience required
• Word
• Excel

Nice To Haves

• EPIC, PowerChart, or Meditech experience preferred
• preferred experience in Urology
• MA certification or higher a plus
• Transcription experience a plus
• Experience with Allscripts a plus
• Some college or postsecondary a plus
