About The Position

Be part of Florida Physician Specialists' Tradition of First Class Care! The Mciver Clinic is seeking a Hospital Coordinator. The hospital care coordinator position entails: Accepting new patient consults from Jacksonville area hospitals Handling high volume phone calls Coordinating care between providers and patients Summarizing pt chart histories, accurately relaying information. Creating new patient electronic charts Surgery scheduling Record keeping Creating and maintaining office scheduling templates Creating notes for billing of patient charges Dictating surgical notes other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Medical terminology - required
• Word, Excel
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year MA experience required

Nice To Haves

• EPIC, PowerChart, or Meditech experience preferred
• preferred experience in Urology
• Some college or postsecondary a plus
• MA certification or higher a plus
• Strong data entry skills
• Transcription experience a plus
• Experience with Allscripts a plus
