Our singular focus is Patient Care Second to None! Insight Healing Center is a rehabilitation center providing meals to patients along with servicing the psych hospital within the Flint Campus. We are a 30 bed rehab dealing with TBI and orthopedic injuries. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cook to follow recipes and cooking instructions from the Dietary Manager to provide nutritious meals to both in-patients and employees. The Cook works directly for the Hospital Dietary Manager, and side by side with RNs and other colleagues, to support the delivery of excellent patient care to surgical patients. Due to the nature of being a smaller Hospital, the Cook will also assist with other duties that help with the daily flow of our Kitchen such as food preparation for patients, visitors and employees, dietary hygiene, menu planning, inventory, compliance, serving, cashiering and drawer balancing, along with general cafe and kitchen responsibilities.
