Hospital Charge Nurse — real ownership of a small, skilled inpatient unit, not a badge number in a big system. Lead the shift, stay at the bedside, and help our patients get back to Good to Go. Position Summary: The Hospital Charge Nurse provides clinical and operational leadership for the inpatient hospital unit, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and continuous RN coverage across a 24/7 schedule. As a working charge nurse, this position both delivers direct patient care and supervises the hospital RN and CNA team. The role serves as the regulatory liaison for dietary services and participates in the unit's on-call coverage rotation as the last-resort backstop when a scheduled RN shift cannot otherwise be filled.
