About The Position
Endeavor Hospice is looking for volunteers to provide support and companionship to our patients. This is a meaningful way to give back to your community.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Good listening skills, and ability to follow instructions
Responsibilities
- Completes administrative tasks like general clerical and office duties.
- Provides bereavement services such as mailings and/or grief support calls.
- Provides companionship to patients and families.
- Performs simple household chores for patients and families.
- Run errands.
- Provides music and/or pet services.
- Performs life review.
- Performs flower arrangements and delivery.
- Performs birthday services.
- Sewing and/or quilting services.
