About The Position
Haven Home Health & Hospice is the only locally owned and clinician-owned hospice in the area, dedicated to serving the community with compassionate end-of-life care. They prioritize people over profits and foster a positive work environment that values teamwork, communication, and growth. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides skilled nursing services to patients in their homes during the end-of-life process, focusing on ensuring patients live their final days with dignity, peace, and comfort, while also supporting their families. This role is for a nurse passionate about end-of-life care.
Requirements
- Current Missouri Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Proficient in computer skills and clinical documentation
- Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate patient needs
Nice To Haves
- Preferred minimum of one year nursing experience within the last five years
- Hospice or home health experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments including physical, emotional, and mental needs
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the end of life process
- Provide compassionate care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life
- Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs in delivering nursing services
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
