About The Position

This position will provide on-call nursing services to the OKC Metro area. Valir Hospice provides terminally ill patients and their families with customized medical care and pain management, as well as emotional and spiritual support. At Valir Hospice our team is committed to the belief that each of us has the right to die free of pain and with dignity. We’re a family of dedicated professionals who care for terminally ill patients using individualized pain and symptom-management plans to enhance the patient’s quality of life. Our hospice professionals are dedicated to providing patients with the compassion and care they deserve.

Requirements

• Valid, current LPN or RN License
• Valid, current CPR Certification
• Valid, current Driver's License

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience in home health, LTCF, or related field nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and providing on call nursing care to meet the needs of the patient, and achieve goals set on the Plan of Care.
