Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current, active RN license in Kansas and Missouri, a multistate compact license, or the ability to obtain the required license(s) within 30 days of hire
  • License must be in good standing
  • At least 1 year (12 months) of recent Registered Nurse experience
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
  • Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
  • A genuine passion for hospice care and serving patients with compassion and dignity

Nice To Haves

  • Hospice, home health, palliative care, oncology, or medical-surgical experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate hospice patient care
  • Complete comprehensive patient assessments
  • Develop and update individualized plans of care
  • Educate and support patients and their families
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary hospice team
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in on-call rotation as assigned
