About The Position
A wonderful healthcare facility located just outside La Crosse, Wisconsin, seeks a Hospice Registered Nurse to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire opportunity with a schedule of Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm. Requirements
- Must have a Wisconsin or Compact RN License
- Must have or be eligible to obtain BLS and CHPN Certifications
- Must have previous nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Administering Medications and treatments prescribed by physicians
- Counseling family members to help them know what to expect as their loved one's condition worsens
- Making family members aware of resources like counseling and government programs
- Adhering to infection control, standards of care, and patient privacy standards
