Hospice Registered Nurse, Part Time
About The Position
Residential Home Health and Hospice is a nationally recognized leader in home health and hospice, and a consistent Top Workplace. We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Hospice position providing end-of-life care to patients in their homes in the Troy, MI area. The role involves delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, performing comprehensive patient assessments, symptom and pain management, and individualized end-of-life care planning. It also includes educating and supporting patients and families through the end-of-life journey, thinking critically to solve problems, and ensuring thorough, compliant EMR documentation. The position requires independent work with team support and travel to patient homes within an assigned territory.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse, RN license in the state you work
- Two years of RN experience and the clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care
- Current driver’s license and ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations

Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, symptom and pain management, and individualized end-of-life care planning
- Educate and support patients and families through the end-of-life journey, ensuring they feel informed, prepared, and deeply cared for
- Think critically, solve problems in real time, and ensure thorough, compliant EMR documentation
- Work independently, but never alone
- Travel to patient homes within assigned territory
