About The Position

Residential Home Health and Hospice is hiring a Registered Nurse for a hospice position providing end-of-life care to patients in their homes in the Honesdale, Pennsylvania area. The role offers autonomy and meaningful patient relationships, with an interdisciplinary team focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. The position is eligible for a $10,000 first-year success bonus tied to accomplishing key milestones.

The nurse performs comprehensive patient assessments, manages symptoms and pain, develops individualized end-of-life care plans, and educates and supports patients and families throughout the end-of-life journey. The role requires independent work, real-time critical thinking and problem solving, thorough and compliant electronic medical record documentation, and travel to patient homes within an assigned territory. A dedicated field education team provides support from the first day, and leadership offers mentoring and development.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where the employee works.
• Two years of RN experience and clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to spend approximately 20% of the workday driving to and from patient locations.
