About The Position

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Hospice RN for a 13-week travel/contract position in Zanesville, OH. This role involves providing nursing care for hospice patients in both inpatient units and in-home settings. The nurse will manage an assigned caseload, lead the interdisciplinary team, perform assessments, care planning, pain and symptom management, administer medications, and ensure accurate patient documentation in EPIC EMR. The position requires flexibility to work in both inpatient and home settings and requires a valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.

Requirements

Registered Nurse: 1+ years - Required
Hospice Nursing experience: 1 year – Required
EPIC EMR experience - Required
Willing to attend Epic remote training for Hospice - Required
Willing to work both inpatient/home settings - Required
Must have valid Driver’s License.
Reliable Vehicle, and provide proof of Personal Auto Liability Insurance
ASN or an equivalent – Required
RN License for State applying or Compact if accepted in the state - Required
BLS Certification from AHA - Required

Nice To Haves

BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred

Responsibilities

Provide Nursing Care for Hospice Patients in both inpatient units and in-home hospice settings.
Manage assigned caseload of patients and lead the interdisciplinary team caring for those patients.
Provide assessments, care planning, pain management and symptom management and all other aspects of hospice nursing.
Administer Physician-prescribed medication.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of patient documentation and charting in adherence to client policies.
