About The Position
Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hospice Department. This is a full-time weekend position with benefits, allowing you to enjoy your weekdays while making a meaningful difference in the lives of hospice patients and their families. The RN will provide on-call support throughout the weekend and make patient visits as needed for hospice case management. Hospice experience is required!
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current, active RN license in Missouri and Kansas, or a compact RN license; must be willing to obtain additional licensure within 30 days of hire
- At least 12 months of RN experience within the last five years, or current clinical knowledge as required by applicable regulations
- At least one year of hospice case management experience required
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid auto liability insurance
- Ability and willingness to work weekends and make patient visits as needed
- A genuine passion for hospice care and providing compassionate support to patients and families
Nice To Haves
- Hospice nursing experience strongly preferred
