About The Position
This role is seeking a BE/BC Primary Care or Hospice/Palliative Care Physician to provide services in the Galesburg Hospice Agency to support the community! The position requires 4 hours per week and offers the opportunity to join a well-established and fully-staffed team with additional support such as pastoral care and social workers. Duties include team management, weekly interdisciplinary meetings, time logging, afterhours call Mon-Fri until 4:30pm, and occasional weekend call. The first call is covered by triage.
Requirements
- Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
- Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
