About The Position

Ohio’s Hospice is looking for a caring and dependable Personal Care Specialist to provide hands-on support to patients receiving hospice services. In this role, you’ll work closely with patients, families, and members of the hospice care team to help patients remain comfortable and maintain their dignity throughout their care journey. This is a field-based position, with visits taking place in patients’ homes and care facilities across the Columbus service area.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) credential preferred; qualified candidates may receive training
Comfortable using computers and electronic medical record systems to document patient care accurately
Valid Ohio driver’s license, good driving history, and current automobile insurance
Ability to successfully complete required background and 10-panel drug screening
Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

CHPNA certification is a plus.
