About The Position

Compassus is seeking a Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care on weekends. This role involves providing care after-hours and on weekends as needs arise, enabling patients to spend quality time with loved ones and pursue enjoyable activities. The RN will build trusting relationships with patients and families, educate caregivers, and help patients and families maintain their maximum level of comfort and coping for after-hours emergency support. The position is salaried, working 24 hours per week, specifically every Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 8 pm, with no night shifts.

Requirements

• RN license in the state you work
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred
• Current driver’s license
• Current CPR and BCLS certification
• Flex your schedule to meet agency-staffing needs. Typical schedules may include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on, seven days off
