About The Position
The Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse provides hospice care after hours and on weekends as patient needs arise. The nurse helps patients spend quality time with loved ones and continue activities they enjoy, builds compassionate relationships with patients and families, educates caregivers, and supports comfort and coping during after-hours emergencies. Schedules are flexible to meet agency staffing needs and may include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on followed by seven days off.
Requirements
- Hold an RN license in the state where the position is performed.
- Have two years of experience as a registered nurse.
- Have a current driver’s license.
- Hold current CPR and BCLS certifications.
- Be able to flex the schedule to meet agency staffing needs.
