About The Position

Compassus is seeking a Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse to provide after-hours and weekend patient care. This role is crucial in enabling patients to spend quality time with loved ones and engage in enjoyable activities. The nurse will build trusting relationships with patients and families, educate caregivers, and help patients maintain their maximum level of comfort and coping during after-hours emergencies. The position involves a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, covering Waco, Temple, and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• RN license in the state you work
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred
• Current driver’s license
• Current CPR and BCLS certification
• Flex your schedule to meet agency-staffing needs. Typical schedules may include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on, seven days off
