About The Position

Compassus is seeking a Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse to provide patient care after-hours and on weekends. This role is crucial in enabling patients to spend quality time with loved ones and pursue enjoyable activities. The position involves building trusting relationships with patients and families, empowering caregivers through education, and ensuring patients and families maintain their maximum comfort and coping levels during after-hours emergencies. This role covers the West Houston and Clear Lake territories with a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule.

Requirements

• RN license in the state you work
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred
• Current driver’s license
• Current CPR and BCLS certification
• Flex your schedule to meet agency-staffing needs. Typical schedules may include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on, seven days off
