About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Hospice Nurse to join our team for a 12-week contract. This position focuses on providing compassionate care to patients in their homes, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment during end-of-life care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of hospice experience required.
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality hospice care to patients and their families.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient care and progress accurately and timely.
