About The Position

Hillcrest Hospice Care is seeking an experienced, compassionate Registered Nurse to join its Omaha-area team. The Hospice RN manages an individualized patient caseload as a clinical case manager and trusted resource throughout each patient’s hospice journey. The role involves working independently in the field while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, hospice aides, social workers, spiritual care, and other professionals. Care focuses on comfort, dignity, symptom management, and quality of life for patients wherever they call home, while supporting and educating their families.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN).
• Experienced nurse; no specific number of years is stated.
• Compassionate and patient-focused.
• Confident working independently in the field.
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and symptom-management skills.
• Comfortable communicating with patients and families during difficult or emotional situations.
