About The Position

Broad Reach Healthcare, established in 1986 and located in Cape Cod, is a provider of comprehensive care services, including CMS 5-Star rated facilities. They are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Night Shift Hospice Nurse (RN) to provide comfort and support to individuals and their families during challenging times. The role involves working on-call from 4pm to 8am, five shifts per week, triaging calls, and visiting hospice patients as needed.

Requirements

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.
Compassion, with a deep understanding of the emotional complexities involved in end-of-life care.
An exceptional communicator and a strong advocate for patient and family needs.
A team player who collaborates effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience in hospice or palliative care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Work on-call from 4pm – 8am, five shifts per week.
Triage all phone calls, received through our answering service, between 4pm and 8am for Broad Reach Hospice patients.
Visit hospice patients as required for patient/family support and support of day nursing staff.
Provide expert nursing care, symptom management, and emotional support tailored to each patient's needs.
