We are currently seeking a compassionate Hospice Nurse (RN) to join our well-respected team in the Grundy Center office. Requirements

Current Iowa state RN license.
Positive attitude and team player.
Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills with the ability to learn work-related software and have basic typing skills.
Current Iowa driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and car insurance.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
2 years of recent experience as a nurse in a related field.
1 year of experience in hospice or home care nursing.
Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Provide ongoing assessment of the physical, emotional, and mental statuses of patients/families.
Provide direct nursing care in compliance with physician’s orders to assigned patients/families.
Monitor patients for changes in condition and updates medication list and plan of care to reflect changes.
Attend interdisciplinary team meetings and participate in developing and updating the patients’ plans of care.
