About The Position

As a Hospice Massage Therapist, you will have a meaningful role and make a difference in the lives of our patients to help find comfort when it's needed most. Travel within Interim HealthCare's service area to visit patients one on one in their home environment and provide comfort touch massages. We provide Hospice care in the home that can make loved ones as comfortable as possible and provide support to the family, allowing them to concentrate on spending quality time together. Additionally, we offer a wide variety of home care ranging from skilled nursing, physical therapy and other licensed health care services, which help with the everyday tasks that let people continue living at home where they are most comfortable. Requirements

  • Successful completion of post secondary course of study from an accredited/licensed school for Massage Therapy.
  • One year of Massage Therapy experience required.
  • Able to travel within a geographic area serviced by the office.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospice massage therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial evaluation, assessing & identifying patient’s needs.
  • Provide comfort touch massage therapy services to patients in accordance with physician’s orders and the interdisciplinary group (IDG) plan of care with a focus on a hospice and palliative care approach.
  • Complete and submit accurate and timely documentation of massage therapy services provided.
