About The Position

Our hospice client is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Hospice Marketer / Community Liaison to increase referrals, develop strong healthcare partnerships, and expand the hospice's presence within the community. The ideal candidate has established healthcare relationships, understands the hospice referral process, and is comfortable developing new business through consistent field outreach, relationship building, education, and follow-up.

Requirements

2+ years of hospice, home health, healthcare, or senior-care marketing/business development experience preferred.
Demonstrated history of generating healthcare referrals and developing professional referral relationships.
Strong sales, presentation, networking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated and comfortable spending a significant portion of the workday in the field.
Ability to organize and manage a territory independently.
Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable healthcare regulations.

Nice To Haves

Prior hospice marketing experience and an established healthcare referral network are strongly preferred.
Knowledge of hospice services, Medicare hospice eligibility, and the healthcare referral process preferred.
Experience calling on or developing relationships with: Hospitals and discharge planners, Physicians and physician practices, Skilled nursing facilities, Assisted living and memory care communities, Rehabilitation facilities, Home health agencies, Case managers and social workers, Senior living professionals, Long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, home health agencies, rehabilitation facilities, senior communities, case managers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
Generate qualified hospice referrals through consistent business development and community outreach.
Conduct in-person sales calls, presentations, facility visits, networking activities, and educational meetings.
Educate referral partners about hospice services, eligibility criteria, benefits, and the referral process.
Identify new referral opportunities and develop strategies to increase census and market penetration.
Maintain regular communication and follow-up with existing and prospective referral sources.
Build relationships with hospital discharge planners, case managers, social workers, physicians, administrators, and directors of nursing.
Coordinate closely with admissions and clinical teams to help ensure a smooth referral and admission process.
Track sales activities, referrals, conversions, referral sources, and follow-up activities using the company's CRM or reporting system.
Participate in networking events, healthcare associations, community events, facility functions, and other business-development activities.
Monitor market activity and identify opportunities to strengthen the organization's competitive position.
Meet established weekly and monthly activity, referral, admission, and business-development goals.
Represent the hospice organization professionally and ethically throughout the community.
