Hospice LPN FT days
About The Position
The Hospice LPN provides compassionate nursing care to patients and support to their families, helping enhance quality of life and promote comfort, dignity, and peace. The LPN works alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team and visits patients in facilities and homes in the greater Huber Heights and surrounding area. This is a driving position. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a rotation every sixth weekend and one holiday per year. Ohio’s Hospice describes its mission as celebrating the lives of those it serves by providing superior care and services to each patient and family.
Requirements
- Be an LPN licensed in the State of Ohio without any board actions.
- CPR certification.
- Sufficient computer skills to properly document services and care.
- Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime, or inclement weather.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- State minimum automobile insurance coverage.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Pass a 10-panel drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- One year of nursing experience is preferred.
