About The Position

Endeavor Hospice is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Hospice Account Executive to grow its presence in the East Valley of Arizona. This role involves connecting patients and families with compassionate end-of-life care by nurturing existing partnerships and developing new relationships with healthcare providers. The position is based in an established territory with active referral relationships, providing a strong foundation for success. Requirements

  • Understands that successful hospice business development is built on trust, integrity, consistency, and genuine relationships.
  • 2+ years of experience in hospice, home health, home care, or healthcare sales.
  • Established relationships within the East Valley healthcare community, or demonstrated ability to develop them.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, develop business, and achieve measurable results.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team.
  • Self-motivation, accountability, and a genuine desire to help others.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow established accounts by taking ownership of existing referral relationships, maintaining consistent communication, and identifying opportunities to strengthen and expand these partnerships.
  • Develop new relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, physicians, senior living communities, group homes, VA-related referral sources, and other healthcare professionals throughout the East Valley.
  • Grow the territory by identifying new opportunities, strengthening existing accounts, and developing a consistent stream of appropriate, qualified hospice referrals.
  • Educate the community, including physicians, nurses, social workers, case managers, community staff, patients, and families, about hospice philosophy, eligibility, services, and benefits.
  • Support seamless transitions by working closely with intake and clinical teams to coordinate referrals, ensure timely communication, and help patients and families transition into care.
  • Represent Endeavor by participating in facility visits, educational presentations, networking opportunities, health fairs, and community events.
  • Develop a territory growth strategy in collaboration with leadership, identifying opportunities and tracking referral activity and performance.
  • Partner with Endeavor Home Care and Endeavor HCBS to connect individuals and families with appropriate services throughout the organization.
  • Maintain strong communication with referral partners, responding promptly to their needs, building trust, and protecting patient privacy.
