About The Position

Trustbridge Hospice, a proud part of Empath Health, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Inpatient Care team at Bethesda East. This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to provide comfort, dignity, and peace during life’s most meaningful moments. You would work the following shift: Part time 2 days - 7pm - 7:30am with weekend availability. Since 1978, Trustbridge Hospice has been honored to serve families across Palm Beach and Broward counties with compassionate, community-based care. Formed from the legacy of Hospice by the Sea and Hospice of Palm Beach County, we continue to provide comfort, dignity, and peace to those facing advanced illness.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Understanding of and ability to apply characteristics of Hospice Nursing: case management, crisis intervention, communication skills, teaching skills, thanatology skills and needs
• Adequate and reliable means of transportation with adequate insurance and valid Florida driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Hospice certification preferred.
• One year in public health, home nursing care, oncology nursing, medical/surgical nursing, geriatric nursing or Hospice nursing preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR software experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and carry out Trustbridge Hospice’s mission, vision, and values every day
• Coordinate comprehensive patient and family care under the direction of the primary physician
• Conduct thorough patient and family assessments
• Develop and manage the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) Care Plan
• Ensure seamless implementation and coordination of all interventions and services
• Place the comfort and dignity of patients and families as your highest priority
• Deliver consistently personalized, sincere, and engaging care
• Promptly and effectively address patient and family concerns
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times
• Strive for complete patient and family satisfaction through exceptional nursing care
