About The Position

Silverado Hospice San Diego is seeking a strategic and compassionate leader to serve as an Executive Director (Administrator). This role oversees hospice operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports interdisciplinary teams. The position blends operational excellence, leadership, and empathy to provide dignified, meaningful care for patients and families. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a health-related field
Minimum of two (2) years of full-time supervisory or management experience
Experience must be within the past five (5) years
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
Associates in driving-required roles must maintain a valid and active driver’s license; failure to do so may result in reassignment, suspension, or termination per company policy
Background in hospice, home health, a primary care clinic, or another healthcare setting
Flexibility to work outside regular hours based on business needs

Nice To Haves

Certificate in Hospice Management preferred

Responsibilities

Understand and practice the mission, principles, and values of Silverado
Organize and direct all services and functions of the Silverado Hospice program
Collaborate with the Director of Patient Care Services to ensure effective management of the Interdisciplinary Team
Maintain and evaluate the hospice program in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Develop, coordinate, and monitor the annual program budget
Maintain written service agreements with approved providers to meet the needs of patients and families
