Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our Hospice team in Overland Park, KS. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of two years of experience in hospice or skilled home health leadership
Knowledge of hospice regulations, business operations, and CHAP standards
Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
Ability to build relationships with patients, families, referral partners, and the community
Positive attitude, self-confidence, and a passion for leading others

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight of all hospice clinical services in the Overland Park area
Ensure quality patient care through planning, implementation, and evaluation of services
Supervise, mentor, and develop clinical staff
Conduct chart audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and CHAP standards
Identify and evaluate patient care needs
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
Assist with onboarding and orientation of new clinicians
Complete patient visits as needed
Manage medical supplies and clinical resources
Ensure all hospice operations remain compliant with federal, state, and accreditation standards
