About The Position

Puget Sound Home Health & Hospice is seeking an experienced Hospice Director of Clinical Services (DCS/DON) to lead our growing hospice program based in Tacoma, WA. This role provides leadership and oversight for hospice clinical operations, ensuring compliance with Medicare, state, and regulatory requirements. The Director will lead, mentor, and develop clinical managers and staff, oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, and retention efforts, and drive quality improvement initiatives. They will also partner with agency leadership on budgeting, staffing, and strategic growth, and support exceptional patient and family care through interdisciplinary collaboration.

Requirements

• Active Washington RN license (or ability to obtain).
• BSN required.
• Current BLS certification.
• 3+ years of healthcare leadership experience.
• 1+ years of hospice leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of hospice regulations and Medicare Conditions of Participation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• MSN.
• Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience.
• Hospice certification.
