About The Position

At Brighton/Suncrest Hospice, our goal is to change the expectation of hospice care by providing exceptional care and service. We achieve this by allocating resources to increase staff to patient ratios, leading to more clinical visits and lower clinician caseloads. We are a Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) certified hospice. We are seeking individuals committed to providing the highest quality of care to patients and their families. We are interested in candidates with unique creativity for working within the current healthcare and marketing climate. The Community Liaison will interact with physicians, hospitals, and community partners to ensure continued delivery of care throughout the service area. Candidates must be confident self-starters and able to work with an interdisciplinary team of skilled hospice members. We aim to add talented individuals who complement our mission and culture.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in healthcare sales, especially home care and/or hospice
  • Ability to market aggressively while simultaneously maintaining positive industry relationships
  • Demonstration of good communication, negotiation, and public relations skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with referral sources
  • Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources
  • Build and monitor community, customer, payer, and patient perceptions of the organization
  • Assist in strategic planning to identify opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs
  • Maintain comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing
  • Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of Suncrest Hospice markets
