Schedule: Thursday-Saturday; 8pm-8am; full-time 36 hours/week Guaranteed 30 hours of pay per week even if not utilized for 30 hours What We offer: Supportive culture and team atmosphere Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision, effective on the first of the month Shift Differential 401(k) retirement plan with a generous company match Merit Increases Generous time off accruals Mileage Reimbursement Paid holidays Tuition Reimbursement Employee Referral Program Employee Discount Programs What Youll Do: The Hospice CNA Peaceful Passing is a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary group who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient's personal needs and to promote comfort. The peaceful passing aide is responsible for being present during the transitioning period, sitting vigil, observing the patient, reporting these observations, and documenting observations and care performed. Performing personal care needs of assigned patient (includes baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linen as often as assigned) and attending to his/her requests promptly. Qualifications: Certified by the state as a nurse aide Maintains a current CPR Certification List on the state aide registry with a clear record able to deliver care to patients 18 years of age unless state law dictates otherwise Valid drivers license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements #ACHOS
