About The Position
Concho Hearts Hospice is seeking a compassionate PRN Hospice CNA / Hospice Aide to support patients and families in Mesquite and surrounding areas. This PRN/Flexible role offers a unique opportunity to provide meaningful care, focusing on comfort, dignity, and personal connection, unlike rushed facility settings. Hospice Aides are vital in supporting patients and families during a significant life journey, with smaller patient assignments allowing for more focused and meaningful interactions.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification in Texas.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
- A passion for providing comfort and dignity to hospice patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to hospice patients in their homes or care facilities.
- Assist with daily living activities while ensuring patient comfort and dignity.
- Observe and report patient condition changes to the nursing team.
- Document care and communicate with the interdisciplinary hospice team.
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
